These people made me fall in love with comedy at the age of 10. In 1989 I used to press record on our family VCR at 10 PM when I had to go to bed and let it run on SLP mode so it would get all of SNL.
RIP Phil Hartman. RIP Victoria Jackson’s brain.

The Soft Bulletin by The Flaming Lips is my favorite album of all time. Pitchfork.tv made a really outstanding documentary about it. I’ve read the book about The Flaming Lips and seen their documentary, but this still had tons of new information and insight into the record. Highly recommended watching if you’re a fan.
Fingers crossed that they will play the album in its entirety live in NY sometime. They’ve done it around the world, but have skipped NYC!
