I wasn’t a wrestling fan as a kid, but in my last couple of years of college I got sucked into it and fell in love. My favorite wrestler was Mick Foley. Tonight, Mick was nice enough to make an appearance at my ridiculous parody wrestling league at the UCB Theatre, the UCBW.
It was a surreal experience. He was incredibly generous with us, suggesting moves that our wrestlers should do on him, “You guys need to go get some baby powder so he can blow it in my face.” There will be better photos and video of the evening to come, but I wanted to share this photo I took with Mick backstage, dressed up as my character Chuck McMahon.
