I always loved Dinosaur Jr’s cover of Just Like Heaven.  Here’s a fantastic recent video of the the band covering it accoustically and discussing The Cure.  Get past the fact that this video was made for Playboy.com and that Southern Comfort is bringing it to you (and serving up a pre-roll ad as well) because this is awesome.  For one, it’s just super cool to see these three guys hanging out and getting along.

Murph claims Robert was wearing a  bear costume when they met him and J calls him out on probably confusing real life with a video, though conceeds that Robert was wearing a “furry sweater” when they met him.

J’s guitar part is noticiably different than I’ve ever heard it before, and I love it.  Very laid back take on the song.  Lou and Murph appear to be having a blast, especially on the yelling part.
