I saw U2 3D this weekend at the Imax theatre up on 66th.  It was a good time.  After about 30 minutes you’re less impressed with the fact that Adam Clayton’s bass keeps poking out at you.  “Hey Adam.  Really great stuff.  But would you mind sticking the end of your bass even closer to the camera on the next take?  Cool man.  Thanks.”  There’s no content in the movie apart from the concert, so it’s pretty much for fans only.  I marked out for “Miss Sarajevo” being on the set-list.  I cringed when Bono put on his “coexist” bandanna.
